For this is the message that you heard from the beginning: We should love one another,
rose from supper, laid aside His garments, and took a towel and wrapped Himself.
This is My commandment: that you love one another, as I have loved you.
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us as a fragrant offering and a sacrifice to God.
As concerning brotherly love, you do not need me to write to you. For you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;
Now the goal of this command is love from a pure heart, and from a good conscience, and from sincere faith.
Since your souls have been purified by obedience to the truth through the Spirit unto a genuine brotherly love, love one another deeply with a pure heart,
Finally, be all of one mind, compassionate, loving toward one another, gracious, and kind.
Above all things, have unfailing love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins.
This then is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we must also love one another.
We have this commandment from Him: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
And now I ask you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning, that we love one another.
