Who goes to war at any time at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard, but does not eat of its fruit? Or who feeds a flock, but does not drink of the flock’s milk?

Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold on eternal life, to which you are called and have made a good confession before many witnesses.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith.

Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, take care of them, not by constraint, but willingly, not for dishonest gain, but eagerly.
