Strengthen the weak hands, and support the feeble knees.

And it shall be said, “Build up, build up, prepare the way, take up every stumbling block out of the way of My people.”

Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face. Should I be inquired of by them at all?

Because they ministered to them before their idols and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity, therefore I have lifted up My hand against them, says the Lord God, that they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity.

You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind, but you shall fear your God: I am the Lord.

“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

We who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak and not please ourselves.

Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.

But if anyone says to you, “This was offered in sacrifice to idols,” do not eat it for the sake of him that mentioned it and for the sake of conscience, for “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.”

Conscience, I say, not your own, but that of the other. For why is my liberty judged by another man’s conscience?

Give no offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God,

For if anyone sees you, who have knowledge, eating in the idol’s temple, shall the conscience of him who is weak not be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols,

When you thus sin against the brothers, wounding their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.

To the weak, I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

I say to my reproach that we were too weak for that. But whenever anyone is bold (I speak foolishly), I am bold also.

Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is led into sin, and I am not distressed?

We give no offense in anything, that our service may not be blamed.

You, brothers, have been called to liberty. Only do not use liberty to give an opportunity to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Beware lest anyone captivate you through philosophy and vain deceit, in the tradition of men and the elementary principles of the world, and not after Christ.

As free people, do not use your liberty as a covering for evil, but live as servants of God.

Although they promise them freedom, they themselves are slaves of corruption, for by that which a man is overcome, to this he is enslaved.

“But I have a few things against you: You have there those who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling block before the Israelites, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality.
