Do you not know that your bodies are the parts of Christ? Shall I then take the parts of Christ and make them the parts of a harlot? God forbid!

so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and all are parts of one another.

Do we then make the law void through faith? God forbid! Instead, we establish the law.

God forbid! For then how could God judge the world?

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? God forbid!

God forbid! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

Therefore has that which is good become death unto me? God forbid! Rather, sin, that it might be shown to be sin, was working death in me through that which is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful.

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid! But I did not know sin, except through the law. I would not have known coveting if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”

But I would have you know that the head of the woman is the man, the head of every man is Christ, and the head of Christ is God.

Now you are the body of Christ and members individually.

“Food is for the belly, and the belly is for food,” but God will destroy both of them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body.

But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him.

What? Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own?

Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more the things that pertain to this life?

If, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found to be sinners, is Christ therefore the minister of sin? God forbid!

Is the law then contrary to the promises of God? God forbid! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, righteousness would indeed come through the law.

God forbid that I should boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.

for the equipping of the saints, for the work of service, and for the building up of the body of Christ,

For the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head and Savior of the church, which is His body.

For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.

and not supporting the head, from which the entire body, nourished and knit together by joints and sinews, grows as God gives the increase.
