“Food is for the belly, and the belly is for food,” but God will destroy both of them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body.

What? Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own?

Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

So, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may be married to another, to Him who has been raised from the dead, so that we may bear fruit for God.

Your fathers ate manna in the wilderness, and they died.

Do not work for the food which perishes, but for that food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

because it does not enter his heart, but into his stomach, and goes out into the sewer, thus purifying all foods?”

These are the things which defile a man. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”

Those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.
