Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may be wise.

Do you see a man who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.

Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil.

Listen to me now, my sons, and do not depart from the words of my mouth.

He said, “Beware lest you be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them.

For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, lest you be wise in your own estimation, for a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Do not pretend to be wiser than you are.

Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”

If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy. And you are His temple.

We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honorable, but we are despised.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals,

For if someone thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

Be not deceived. God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that will he also reap.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.

But evil men and seducers will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

We also were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various desires and pleasures, living in evil and envy, filled with hatred and hating each other.

Be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

If anyone among you seems to be religious and does not bridle his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
