If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy. And you are His temple.

He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

Moreover, in my devotion to the house of my God I have offered from my own property, gold and silver, which I give for the house of my God, over and above that which I prepared for the holy dwelling place:

Direct Your steps to the irreparable ruins; the enemy has destroyed everything in the sanctuary.

O God, the nations have come into Your inheritance; Your holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem in ruins.

Your statutes are very sure; holiness befits Your house, O  Lord, forever.

Exalt the Lord our God and worship at His holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy!

He said, “Do not come near. Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”

Our holy and beautiful house where our fathers praised You is burned up with fire; and all our precious things are laid waste.

This is the law of the temple: The whole territory on the top of the mountain all around shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the temple.

Therefore, as I live, says the Lord God, surely, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you, and My eye shall have no pity, nor will I spare.

My face also I will turn from them, and they shall pollute My secret place; for the robbers shall enter and defile it.

Thus you shall separate the Israelites from their uncleanness, so that they do not die in their uncleanness by defiling My tabernacle that is among them.

I will set My face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given some of his descendants to Molech to defile My sanctuary and to defile My holy name.

Her prophets are reckless, treacherous men; her priests have profaned the sanctuary and done violence to the law.

But the man who is unclean and does not purify himself, that person will be cut off from among the assembly because he has defiled the sanctuary of the Lord. The water of purification has not been sprinkled on him. He is unclean.

Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may be wise.
