Now if Timothy comes, see that he may remain with you without fear, for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.

Then he came to Derbe and then to Lystra. A disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who believed, but his father was a Greek.

He sent two who ministered to him, Timothy and Erastus, into Macedonia, but he delayed in Asia for a time.

Timothy, my fellow worker, and Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen, greet you.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

We sent Timothy, who is our brother and minister of God and our fellow laborer in the gospel of Christ, to establish and comfort you with regard to your faith,

so that you may walk honestly toward those who are outsiders and that you may lack nothing.
