When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, and I thought as a child. But when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Remove anxiety from your heart, and put away distress from your body, for youth and the dawn of life are vanity.

They reasoned among themselves, saying, “It is because we have taken no bread.”

But when that which is perfect comes, then that which is imperfect shall pass away.

For now we see as through a glass, dimly, but then, face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know, even as I also am known.

Brothers, do not be children in your thinking; rather be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.

Now I say that as long as the heir is a child, he does not differ from a servant though he is lord of all.

Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, nor had the word of the Lord been revealed to him.
