These men are grumblers, complainers, who walk after their own lusts. Their mouths speak arrogant words, and they flatter others to gain profit.

So the Lord sent an angel and destroyed the mighty army, leaders, and officials in the camp of the king of Assyria. So the king returned in shame to his own land. When he entered the temple of his god, some of his sons fell on him there with the sword.

Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go, pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.”

By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest the one who destroys the firstborn touch them.

Therefore both you and all your company are gathered together against the Lord, and who is Aaron that you murmur against him?”

It will be that the rod of the man whom I choose will bud. Thus I will rid myself of the complaints of the Israelites, that they have been making against you.

The Lord said to Moses, “Return the rod of Aaron before the testimony, to be kept for a warning to rebels, that you may put an end to their complaints before Me, or else they will die.”
