I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius,
So he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days.
Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord with his entire household. And many of the Corinthians hearing Paul believed and were baptized.
Gaius, who is host to me and to the whole church, greets you. Erastus, who is the city treasurer, and our brother Quartus greet you.
lest any should say that I had baptized in my own name.
I thank my God always on your behalf for the grace of God which has been given to you through Jesus Christ.
I thank my God that I speak in tongues more than you all.
Now thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph in Christ and through us reveals the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
Give thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Let the peace of God, to which also you are called in one body, rule in your hearts. And be thankful.
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful and appointed me to the ministry.
I thank my God, always mentioning you in my prayers,
