The sons of Kohath were Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

Uzzi fathered Zerahiah, and Zerahiah the father of Meraioth.

Ahitub fathered Zadok, and Zadok father of Ahimaaz.

Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, was a ruler of the house of God.

But the sons of Korah did not die.
