When David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.

When David had finished offering the burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people before the Lord of Hosts.

So they brought in the ark of God, placed it in the midst of the tent that David had erected for it, and drew near to God with burnt offerings and peace offerings.

Then he distributed to all the Israelites, both men and women, a loaf of bread, a piece of meat, and a raisin cake for each.

When the burnt offering was finished, the king and all those with him bowed down and worshipped.

Then the priests and Levites went out and blessed the people, and their voices were heard. And their prayers came up to His holy habitation in the heavens.

It shall be the prince’s part to give burnt offerings and grain offerings and drink offerings in the feasts and in the New Moons and in the Sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel. He shall prepare the sin offering and the grain offering and the burnt offering and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.

If his offering is a burnt sacrifice, and it is from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. At the door of the tent of meeting, he shall offer it of his own free will before the Lord.

Without question, the inferior is blessed by the superior.

Joshua blessed them and sent them off, and they went to their tents.
