If thou wilt not be dyligent to do all the wordes of this law that are wrytten in thys boke, for to feare this glorious and fearfull name of the Lorde thy God:
And the .iiij. beastes had eche one of them .vi. wynges about him, and they were full of eies wythin. And they had no reste, daye neither nyghte sayinge. Holye, holye, holy, Lord God almyghtye, whyche was and is, and is to come.
And now am I no more in the world, but they are in the worlde, and I come to the. Holy father kepe in thyne owne name, them whom thou hast geuen me, that they maye be one, as we are.
and loked, and gat me vp, and sayde vnto the chefe men and rulers, & to the other people: be not ye afraied of them thinke vpon the greate Lord, which ought to be feared and fyghte for youre brethren, sonnes, doughters, wyues, and houses.
& sayde: O Lorde God of heauen, thou greate & terryble God, thou that kepest couenaunt and mercy for them that loue the, and obserue thy commaundementes:
But the Lorde stode by me, lyke a myghtie giaunte: therfore my persecuters fell, and coulde do nothing. They shall be sore confounded, for they haue done vnwysely, they shall haue an euerlastynge shame.
Nowe oure God, thou great God, mightye and terryble, that thou kepest couenaunte and mercy, regarde not a lytle of the trauaile that hath happened vnto vs, and our kynges prynces, priestes, prophetes, fathers and all thy people, sence the tyme of the kynges of Assur vnto thys daye.
And the Leuites, Iesua, Cadmiel Bani, Hasabniah, Serebiah, Hodiah, Sebaniah, Phathahiah, sayde: stande vp, prayse the Lorde youre God for euer, & let thankes be geuen vnto the name of thy glorye, which excelleth all thankesgeuing & prayse.
