A Psalme of Asaph. God standeth in the congregacion of the Goddes, and is a iudge amonge the iudges.

If thou seyst the poore to be oppressed and wrongeously dealt withall, so that equite & the right of the law is wrasted in the lande: maruell not thou at such iudgement, for one great man kepeth touch with another, and the mightye helpe them selfes together.

So that men shall saye, verelye there is a rewarde for the righteous: doutles, there is a God that iudgeth the earth.

Moreouer seke oute amonge all the people, men of actiuitie which feare God and men that are true and hate coueteousnes: & make them heades ouer the people, captaines ouer thousandes, ouer hundredes, ouer fifty & ouer ten.

A Psalme of Asaph. The Lord euen the mighty God hath spoken, & called the world from the risyng vp of the sunne vnto the goynge doune of the same.

But ye ymagyn mischefe in youre hertes and youre handes deale with wickednes.
