And it chaunced that certayne men whych were defyled wt a dead corse that they might not offer Passeouer the same daye, came before Moses and Aaron the same tyme,
And whasoeuer toucheth one that is slayne wyth a swerde in the feldes, or a dead person, or a bone of a deade man, or a graue: shall be vncleane .vij. dayes.
Then led they Iesus from Cayphas into the hall of iudgement. It was in the morning and they themselues went not into the iudgement hall leaste they shoulde be defyled, but that they might eate the paschall lambe.
And a cleane person shal take Isope & dippe it in the water, and sprinkle it vpon the tente & vpon al the vessels & on the soules that were there, & vpon hym that toucheth a bone or a slaine person or a dead body or a graue.
and a man of Israel stroue togyther in the host. And the Israelitish womannes sonne blasphemed the name & cursed, & they brought hym vnto Moses. And hys mothers name was Salomith, the doughter of Dibry of the trybe of Dan:
and sayde: We are defyled vpon a dead corsse, wherfore are we kepte backe that we maye not offer an offerynge vnto the Lorde in the due season, amonge the chyldren of Israell?
