Now therfor go & smyte the Amaleckites, & onelye destroy ye all that pertayneth vnto them, & se thou haue no compassion on them. But slay both man & woman, infant & sucklyng, & oxe, shepe, camell & Asse.

Cursed be he that doth the worcke of the Lorde negligentlye, and cursed be he that kepeth backe hys swearde from sheddynge of bloude.

And we toke al his cyties the same ceason and destroyed al the cities with men, wemen and chyldren and let nothyng remayne,

And Iosua smote all the hille countreyes and the south countreys, and the valeyes, and the springes of water, with al their kinges, & let nought remayne, but vtterlye destroyed all that breathed, as the Lorde God of Israel commaunded.

And al that fell that daye, both of men and women, were twelue thousand, euen all the men of Ai.

and toke the cytye. And they vtterlye destroyed al that was in the cytye, bothe man and woman, younge & olde, oxe, shepe, & Asse, wyth the edge of the swerde.

And when the Lord thy God hath deliuered it into thine handes, smyte al the males therof wyth the egde of the swerde,

And Moses was angrye with the offycers of the hoste, wyth the captaynes ouer thousandes and ouer hundredes, whyche came from warre & battell,

saue the wemen and the chyldren and the catel and all that is in the cytie and al the spoyle therof take vnto thy selfe & eate the spoyle of thyne enemyes whych the Lord thy God geueth the.
