And when the tabernacle goth forth the Leuites shall take it downe: and when the tabernacle is pitched they shal set it vp: for if any straunger come nere, he shal dye.
But on the forefront of the habitacion & before the tabernacle of wytnesse eastward, shal Moses & Aaron & hys sonnes pytch, & wayte on the sanctuary in the steade of the chyldren of Israel. And the straunger that cometh nye, shal dye for it.
And se that both thou and thy sonnes wyth the take hede vnto your priestes offyce, in al thinges that pertayne vnto the alter, and wythin the vayle. And se that ye serue, for I haue geuen youre prestes offyce vnto you for a gifte to do seruyce, and the straunger that commeth nye, shall dye.
to be a remembraunce vnto the children of Israel, that no straunger which is not of the seed of Aaron, come nere to offer cense before the Lord, that he be not made lyke vnto Corah and hys companye: as the Lord sayd vnto hym by the hand of Moses.
& gyrd them with gyrdels: as well Aaron as his sonnes. And put the bonettes on them that the priestes office maye be theirs for a perpetuall lawe. And fyl the handes of Aaron and of hys sonnes,
And they mynystred before the dwellinge place of the tabernacle of wytnesse wyth syngynge, vntyll Salomon had buylt the temple of the Lorde in Ierusalem. And then they wayted on theyr offyces accordinge to the order of them.
And he plaged the men of Bethsames, because they had sene the arcke of the Lorde. And he slue of the people fyftyethousand and thre skore & ten persones. And the people lamented, because the Lorde had slayne so greate a slaughter of them.
