And Israell sent messengers vnto Sehon, kyng of the Amorites sayinge:

after that he had smytten Sehon the kynge of the Amorites which dwelt in Hesbon, and Og kinge of Basan which dwelt at Astaroth in Edrai.

on the other side Iordan in the valey besyde Beth Pheor in the land of Sehon kyng of the Amorytes whiche dwelt at Hesbon, whom Moses & the children of Israell smote after they were come out of Egypt

And at the last ye came vnto this place, & Sehon the kynge of Hesbon and Og kynge of Basan came out agaynst you vnto battel, and we smote them

For we haue hearde how the Lorde dried vp the water of the red sea before you, when you came out of Egypte, & what you dyd vnto the two kinges of the Amorytes on the other syde Iordan Sehon, and Og, which ye vtterlye destroyed.

And I brought you into the lande of the Amorites which dwelte on the other syde Iordan. And they foughte with you: and I gaue them into youre handes. And ye conquered theyr contre. And I destroyed them in your syghte.

And the Lorde sayde vnto the chyldren of Israel: dyd not the Egypcyans, the Amorytes, the chyldren of Ammon, the Phylystynes,

And thou gauest them kyngedomes and nacyons, and partedst them accordynge to theyr porcyons, so that they possessed the lande of Sehon kynge of Hesebon, and the lande of Og the kynge of Basan.

Sehon Kynge of the Amorytes, Og the Kynge of Basan, and all the Kyngdomes of Canaan.

Sehon Kyng of the Amorytes, for hys mercy endureth for euer.

They that are able to flye, shal stande vnder the shadow of Hesebon. For there shall go a fyre oute of Hesebon, and a flamme from Sion, and shal burne vp that proude people of Moab, bothe before and behynde.

These are the Kynges of the land whyche the chyldren of Israell smote and conquered their landes, on the other syde Iordan eastwarde, from the ryuer Arnon, vnto mounte Hermon, and all the plaine eastwarde:
