Lorde, they wyll not se thyne hye hande, but they shall se it, and be confounded: when thou shalte deuoure them with the wrathe of the people, & wyth the fyre of thyue enemyes.

But within a whyle they forgat his workes, and wold not abyde his councel.

And when Ahab sawe Eliah, he sayd vnto hym: art thou he that troubleth Israel?

in honoure and dishonour, in euyll reporte, & good reporte: as disceyuers & yet true:

But Baruch the sonne of Neriah prouoketh the agaynst vs, that he might brynge vs into the captiuite of the Caldees: that they myght slay vs, and carye vs away presoners vnto Babylon.

Then sayd the princes vnto the king: Syr, we beseche you, let this man to be put to death: For thus he discoraged the handes of the soudyars that be in this cytie, & the handes of al the people, when he speaketh such wordes vnto them. This man verely laboureth not for peace of the people, but mischefe.

Neyther murmure ye as some of them murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

These are murmurers, complayners, walkyng after theyr owne iustes, whose mouthes speake proud thinges. They haue men in great reuerence because of vauntage.
