And they went and came to Moses and Aaron & vnto all the multitude of the chyldren of Israell, vnto the wyldernesse of Pharan: euen vnto Cades, and broughte them worde and also vnto all the congregation, and shewed them the frute of the lande.

This dyd your fathers, when I sent them from Cades barne to se the land.

And the whole multitude of the chyldren of Israell, came into the deserte of Syn in the fyrste moneth, and the people dwelt at Cades. And ther dyed MirIam, and was buried ther.

And then turned they & came to the well of Iudgemente whyche is Cades, and smot all the countrye of Amalechites, and also the Amorites that dwell in Hazezon Thamer.

And they turned backe agayn from searchynge the land, at .xl. dayes ende.

And Moses sente messengers from Cades vnto the kyng of Edom. Thus sayeth thy brother Israel. Thou knowest al the trauel that hath happened vs,

.xi. dayes iourney from Horeb vnto Cades barne, by the way that leadeth vnto mount Seir.

the voice of the Lorde shaketh the wylderuesse, yea the Lorde shaketh the wildernesse of Cades.

And Moses at the commaundement of the Lorde sent forth out of the wyldernesse of Pharan: soche men as were all heades among the chyldren of Israell, whose names are these.

And they went vp euen vnto the ryuer of Escol and sawe the lande, and dyscoraged the hertes of the chyldren of Israell, that they should not go into the land which the Lorde had geuen them.

Fourty yere olde was I, when Moses the seruaunte of the Lorde sente me from Cades barne to spye oute the lande. And I brought him worde again, euen as I thought in myne herte.
