These are the numbres of the chyldren of Israel: syxe hundred thousand, and a thousande .vij. hundred and .xxx.

And I wyll make thy sede, as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can numbre the duste of the earth, then shall thy sede also be numbred.

And I wyll make of the a myghty people, and wyll blesse the, and make thy name greate, that thou maiste be a blessynge.

And all the numbres of the chyldren of Israel in the houses of theyr fathers, from twentye yeare and aboue, whatsoeuer was mete for the warre in Israell,

Your carkesses shal lye in thys wyldernesse, nether shal any of these nombres whych were nombred from .xx. yere & aboue of you which haue murmured agaynste me

And Moses saide: syxe hundred thousand fotemen are there of the people, among whiche I am. And thou hast sayde: I wyll geue them flesh and they shall eate a moneth longe.
