and shall geue sentence amonge the multytude of the Heathen and refourme the people of farre countrees: so that of their sweardes they shall make plowshares, and sythes of their speares. One people shall not lyft vp a swearde agaynst another, yee they shal nomore learne to fyght:

and shall geue sentence amonge the Heathen, and shall reforme the multytude of people. So that they shal breake theyr swerdes & speares to make sythes, sycles and sawes thereof. From that tyme forth shall not one people lyfte vp weapen agaynste another, neyther shall they learne to fight from thence forth.

Then will I make a couenaunte with them, with the wilde beastes, with the foules of the ayre, and with euery thinge that crepeth vpon the earth. As for bowe, swerde and battel, I will destroye suche out of the lande, & will make them to slepe safely.

Before the lorde, for he commeth: for he commeth to iudge the earth: yea, with ryghteousnesse shall he iudge the worlde, and the people with his trueth.

And I sawe heauen open, & beholde a whyt horsse: and he that sate vpon hym was faythful and true, & in rightuousnes dyd he iudge & make battayl.

After that shal the lord go forthe to fyght agaynste those heathen, as men vse to fight in the daye of batell.

I wil rote out the charrettes from Ephraim, & the horse from Ierusalem, the battel bowes shalbe destroyed. He shall geue the doctryne of peace vnto the heathen, & his dominion shal be from the one syde to the other, and from the flundes to the endes of the worlde.

Thus wyll I be auenged also, vpon all the Heathen that wyll not heare.

I shal gather al people together, & brynge them in the valleye of Iosaphat: and there wyl I reason with them: because of my people & herytage of Israel, whom they haue scatred aboute in the nacyons, and parted my lande,

In the dayes of these kinges shall the God of heauen set vp an euerlastynge kyngdome whiche shall not peryshe, and hys kyngdome shall not be geuen ouer to another people: yea the same shal breake and destroy al these kingdomes, but it shall endure foreuer.

For euery poeple & kingedom that serueth not the, shal perysh, and be destroyed with the swerd.

It is harde by, that my health & my ryghteousnesse shall go forthe, and the people shalbe ordered wyth myne arme. The Ilandes (that is the Gentyles) shall hope in me, & put theyr truste in myne arme.

Therfore the very rude people must magnifie the, & the cities of the cruel Heathen muste feare the.

he shall make no ende to encrease the kyngedome and peace, and shall sytte vpon the seate of Dauid, and in his kyngedome, to set vp the same, to stablyshe it wyth equyte and ryghteousnesse, from thence forth for euermore. This shall the gelousy of the Lorde of hostes brynge to paste.

Aryse, O God, & iudge thou the earth, for all the Heathen are thyne by enheritaunce.

In hys tyme shall righteousnesse florysh, yea, and aboundaunce of peace, so longe as the moone endureth.

He hath made warres to cease in all the worlde: he hathe broken the bowe, he hathe knapped the speare in sonder, and brente the charettes in the fyre.

The Lordes aduersaryes shall be made to feare hym: and out of heauen he shal thunder vpon them. The Lorde shall iudge the endes of the worlde, and shall geue myght vnto his Kynge, and exalte the horne of his anoynted.

That the mountaynes maye brynge peace, and the litle hylles righteousnesse vnto the people.

Thus sayeth the Lorde of hostes: There shal yet come people, and the inhabiters of many cities:

Be styll then and confesse that I am God I will be exalted amonge the Heythen, and I will be exalted vpon earth.

In fayth also will I mary the vnto my selfe, and thou shalt know the Lorde.
