And for as muche as ye haue puryfyed, youre soules thorowe the spyryte, in obeying the truethe for to loue brotherlye wythout faynynge, se that ye loue one another with a pure herte feruentlye:
But the wysedome that is from aboue, is fyrste pure, then peasable, gentle, and easye to be entreated, full of mercye & good frutes, wythoute iudgynge, and wythout simulacyon:
Vnto the pure are all thynges pure, but vnto them that are defyled and vnbeleuynge, is nothynge pure: but euen the very myndes and consciences of them are defyled.
Howe muche more shall the bloude of Christe (which thorow the eternall spyryte offred hym selfe without spot to God) pourge youre conscyences from dead workes, for to serue the lyuyng God?
Seynge that we haue such promyses dearely beloued, let vs cleanse oure selues from al fylthynesse of the fleshe & spyrite, and grow vp to full holynesse in the feare of God.
Nowe we se in a glasse euen in a darke speakinge, but then shall we se face to face. Nowe I knowe vnperfectlye, but then shall I knowe euen as I am knowen.
