that ye maye be fauteles & pure, the sonnes of God wythout rebuke, in the middes of a croked and a peruerse nacyon, amonge whiche se that ye shine as lightes in the worlde,
Then spake Iesus agayne vnto them, saiynge. I am the lyghte of the worlde. He that foloweth me, shall not walke in darkenes: but shall haue the lyghte of lyfe.
Whyle ye haue lyghte, beleue on the lyght, that ye maye be the chyldren of light. These thynges spake Iesus, and departed, and hyd hym selfe from them.
Sette your selues therfore at large, and beare not a straungers yoke with the vnbeleuers. For what feloweshyppe hath ryghtuousnes with vnryghtuousnes? What companye hath lyght with darkenes?
and the misery of the .vij. starres which thou sawest in my right hande, and the .vij. golden candelstickes. The .vij. starres are the messengers of the .vij. congregacions: And the .vij. candelstyckes which thou sawest are the .vij. congregacyons.
Remember therfore from whence thou arte fallen, and repente, and do the fyrste workes. Or els I wil come vnto the shortlye, and wil remoue thy candelsticke out of his place, excepte thou repent.
