And his fame sprede abrode through out all Siria. And they brought vnto him all sycke people that were taken with diuers diseases & gripinges, and them that were possessed with deuils and those which were lunatike, & those that had the palsie: & he healed them,

But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him, & much people came together to heare and to be healed of him, of their infirmyties.

And this taxynge was the fyrste, and executed when Syrenius was lieftenaunt in Siria.

And Iesus rebuked the deuel, & he came out of hym. And the chylde was healed euen that same houre.

howe God had annoynted Iesus of Nazareth wyth the holy ghost, and wyth power. Whiche Iesus went about doynge good, and healinge all that were oppressed of the deuils for God was wyth him.

and gaue them letters in theyr handes after thys maner. The Apostles, elders, and brethren sende gretynges vnto the brethren whiche are of the gentyls in Antioche, Syria, and Celicia.

And there came vnto hym that brought one sicke of the palsie, borne of foure men.

And at euen when the sunne was doune, they brought to hym all that were dyseased, & them that were possessed with deuyls.

And Iesus went about al Galile, teaching in their sinagoges, & preaching the gospel of the kingdome, & healed al maner of sickenes, & all maner of diseases among the people.

& sayde: If ye wyll herken vnto the voyce of the Lord your god, & wyl do that which is ryght in his syght & wyl geue an eare vnto hys commaundementes, and kepe all hys ordynaunces: than wyll I put none of these diseases vpon the whych I brought vpon the Egypcyans, for I am the Lord thy surgione.

And he went throughe al Ciria and Cilicia, stablyshynge the congregacions, commaundyng to kepe the preceptes of the Apostles and elders.

And Iesus retourned by the power of the spyryte into Galile, and there went a fame of hym throughout all the regyon rounde about.

And immediatly hys fame spred abroade throughoute al the regyon borderynge on Galile.

At that tyme Herode the Tetrarcha heard of the fame of Iesu,

And the fame of Dauid went out into all landes, and the Lorde made all nacyons feare hym.

And the quene of Saba hearde of the wysdome of Salomon concernyng the name of the Lord, and came to proue hym wyth rydelles.

And he excelled all men in wysdome, both Ethan the Ezrahite, & Heman, Chalcol and Dorda the sonnes of Mahol. And hys name sprede abroade amonge all nacyons on euerye syde.

And the Lorde was wyth Iosua, and hys fame was hearde, thorowout all landes.

Other sayd: these are not the wordes of hym that hath the deuyll. Can the deuyll open the eyes of the blynde?

And Iesus went aboute all cytyes and tounes, teachinge in their synagoges and preachinge the gladde tidinges of the kingdome, and healinge all maner sicknes and disease amonge the people.

And this was noysed through out all that lande.

And when he was come to the other syde, into the countre of the Gergesytes, there mete him two possessed of deuils, which came out of the graues, & were out of measure fearce, so that no man myght go by that way.

and put soudyours in Syra Damascon. And the Syryans became seruauntes to Dauid, payeng trybute. And thus the Lord saued Dauid in all that he went to.

Moreouer I haue prepared with al my myghte for the house of God, golde for thynges of goulde, and syluer for thynges of syluer, brasse for thynges of brasse, yron for thynges of yron, and wood for thynges of wood: & onykes stones, set stones, and of other gay stones, and all maner of precyouse stones, and of marbre great aboundaunce.

Then the hearde men fled & went their wayes into the citye, and tolde euerye thynge, and what had fortuned vnto the possessed of the deuyls.

And because they coulde not come nye to hym for preace, they vncouered the rofe of the house, where he was. And when they had broken it open, they let doune the bed where in the sicke of the palsye laye.

Whether is it easyer to saye to the sicke of the palsie, thy synnes are forgeuen the: or to saye: aryse, take vp thy bed, and walke?

And he arose vp & came out of the synagoge, and entred into Simons house. And Simons mother in lawe was taken with a great feuer and they made intercessyon to hym for her.

But that ye may knowe that the sonne of man hath power to forgeue sinnes on earth, he said to the sycke of the paulsye, I say to the, aryse, take vp thy bed & go home to thy house.

For vncleane spyrites criynge with loude voyce, came out of manye that were possessed of them. And manye taken wyth palsyes, and manye that halted, were healed.

And this rumore of hym wente forth throughout all Iurye, and thoroweout all the regions which lye rounde about.

When this was done, other also which had dyseases in the yle came and were healed.
