When he was gone oute into the poorche, another wenche sawe hym, and sayde vnto them that were there. Thys felowe was also with Iesus of Nazareth,

And after a lytle while another sawe him and said: thou arte also of them. And Peter sayed: man I am not.

& went & dwelt in a citie called Nazareth, to fulfyl that which was spoken by the prophetes: he shalbe called a Nazarite.

but he denyed before them al sayinge: I wote not what thou sayst.

and agayne he denyed with an oth that he knew not the man.
