Let vs be glad & reioyse & geue honour to him, for the mariage of the lambe is come, and hys wyfe made her selfe readye.

He that hath the bryde is the brydegrome. But the frend of the brydegrom, whiche standeth by and heareth him reioyseth greatlye of the brydegromes voyce. Thys my ioye is fulfilled.

Another similitude put he forth vnto them saying: The kyngedom of heauen is lyke vnto a man whiche sowed good seede in hys felde.

For he that made the, shalbe thy Lorde & husband (whose name is the Lorde of hostes) & thyne auenger shalbe euen the holy one of Israel, the Lorde of the whole worlde.

These are they, whiche were not defyled wt women for they are virgins. These folowe the lamb whether so euer goeth. These were redemed from men being the fyrst frutes vnto God & to the lamb,

lokynge for that blessed hope and gloryous apperyng of the myghtye God, and of oure sauyoure Iesu Christe,

The kyngdome of heauen is like vnto a certayne kynge, whiche maryed hys sonne,

From henceforth is layde vp for me a croune of ryghtuousnes which the Lorde that is a ryghtuous iudge shall geue me at that daye: not to me only, but vnto all them that loue hys comynge.

saying: Repent the kingdome of heauen is at hande.

In the dayes of these kinges shall the God of heauen set vp an euerlastynge kyngdome whiche shall not peryshe, and hys kyngdome shall not be geuen ouer to another people: yea the same shal breake and destroy al these kingdomes, but it shall endure foreuer.

I commende you brethren that ye remembre me in al thinges, & kepe the ordinaunces euen as I deliuered them to you.

For the kyngedom of heauen is lyke vnto an housholder, which went out early in the mornynge to hyre labourers into hys vyneyarde.

Agayne the kyngedome of heauen is lyke vuto a nette cast into the sea, that gathered of all kyndes of fyshes:

She shalbe brought vnto the kyng in rayment of nedle worke, & maidens after her: such as be next her shalbe brought vnto the.

And the fielde is the worlde. And the chyldren of the kyngdom, they are the good seede. And the tares are the chyldren of the wycked.

I charge you therfore, O ye daughters of Ierusalem, if ye fynde my beloued, that ye tell hym how that I am sycke for loue.

And out of the seate proceded lyghteninges, and thonderinges, and voyces, and there were seuen lampes of fyre, burninge before the seate, whiche are the seuen spirites of God.

For I am gelous ouer you with godly gelousye. For I coupled you to one man, to make you a chaste virgyn to Christe.

And Iesus sayd vnto them. Can the weddyng children morne as long as the bridegrome is with them? The tyme will come when the bridegrome shalbe taken from them, and then shal they faste:

Let your light so shyne before men that they maye se your good workes, and gloryfye your father which is in heauen.

And there were manye lyghtes in the chamber where they were gathered together,

Another parable he put forth vnto them saying: The kyngdom of heauen is lyke vnto a grayne of mustard seede, whiche a man taketh and soweth in hys felde,

Hys throte is swete, yea, he is altogether louely. Such one is my loue, O ye daughters of Ierusalem, such one is my loue.

& that because of the good & pleasaunt sauoure. Thy name is a swete smelling oyntment, therfore do the maydens laue the:

Then all those virgins arose, and prepared their lampes.

Iudas then after he had receyued a bande of men, and ministers of the hye priestes and Phariseis, came thyther wt lanternes and fyrebrandes, and weapens.

And the thyrd angel blewe, and there fell a great starre from heauen burninge, as it were a lampe, and it fell into the thyrde parte of the riuers, and into fountaines of waters,
