that ye come not among the presonners, or lye amonge the deade? After all this shall not the wrath of the Lord cease, but yet shall hys hande be stretched out styll.

that the Sirians shall laye holde vpon them before, & the Philistines behinde, and so deuoure Israell wyth open mouth. After all thys, the wrath of the Lord shall not ceasse, but yet his hande shall be stretched oute styll.
Therfore shall sorowes come vpon him, as vpon a woman that trauayleth. An vndyscrete sonne is he: for he consydreth not, that he shoulde not haue bene able to haue endured in the tyme of hys byrth,
For there shall nacyon aryse agaynst nacyon, and kingdom agaynst kyngdome. And there shalbe earthquakes in all quarters, & famyshment and troubles. These are the begynnynge of sorowes.
But before all these, they shall laye their handes on you and persecute you, delyueringe you vp to the Synagoges & into pryson, and bringe you before kinges and rulers for my names sake.
