Ye shall heare of warres? and of the fame of warres: but se that ye be not troubled. For all these thinges muste come to passe, but the ende is not yet.

But when ye heare of warre and dissencion, be not afrayed. For these thinges muste fyrste come: but the ende foloweth not by & by.

And he sayd vnto hys disciples: Let not youre hertes be troubled. Beleue in God & beleue in me.

that ye be not sodenly moued fome your mynd, and be not troubled, neyther by spirite neyther by wordes, nor yet by letter whiche shoulde seme to come from vs, as thoughe the daye of Christe were at hande.

Peace I leaue with you, my peace I geue vnto you. Not as the worlde geueth, geue I vnto you. Let not your hertes be greued, neyther feare ye.

He wyll not be afrayed for anye euyll tydynges, his herte standeth fast, and beleueth in the Lord.

And this glad tydinges of the kingdome shalbe preached in all the worlde, for a wytnes vnto all nacions: & then shal the ende come.

With your pacience possesse your soules.

Beholde, God is my health, in whom I trust, & am not afraid. For the Lorde God is my strength and my praise, he also shalbe my refuge.

For I saye vnto you: that yet that which is written, must be perfourmed in me: euen with the wicked was he numbred. For tose thinges which are written of me, haue an ende.

But how then shoulde the scriptures be fulfylled: for so must it be.

And thou (O sonne of man) prophecye and speake: Thus sayeth the Lorde God to the children of Ammon, and to their blasphemye, speake thou: The swerde, the swerde is drawen forth al readye to the slaughter, and scoured that it glistreth

O thou sweard of the Lord? Turne agayne into thy sheeth, reste, and leaue of.

and saye vnto hym: Take hede to thy selfe and be styll, but feare not, neyther be fayntharted, for these two tales: that is: for these two smokynge fyre brandes, the wrathe and furyousnes of Razin the Syryan and Romelyes sonne:

When Herode the kinge had herde this, he was troubled, and al Ierusalem with him,

And there wente out another horsse that was red, and power was geuen to him that sate theron, to take peace from the earth, and that they should kyl one another. And there was geuen vnto hym a greate swerde.
