for they say and do not. Yea, and they bynd heauy burthens and greuous to be borne and lay them on mens shoulders: but they them selfs will not heaue at them with one of theyr fyngers.

Then he sayde: Wo be to you also ye lawyars, for ye lade men wt burthens greuous to be borne, and ye youre selues touche not the packes with one of your fyngers.

Now therfore why tempte ye God, that ye woulde put a yoke on the disciples neckes, which neyther our fathers nor we were able to beare.

For they them selues which are circumcysed kepe not the lawe: but desyre to haue you circumcysed that they myght reioyce in your fleshe.

Wo be to you Scribes and Phariseis, hypocrites, which tythe mynte, anyse and commen, and leaue the wayghtyer matters of the lawe vndone: iudgement, mercy, and faythe. These ought ye to haue done, and not to haue lefte the other vndone.

Vnto you I say, and vnto eyther of them of Thiatyra, as manye as haue not knowen this learning, and whiche haue not knowen the depnes of Sathan (as they say) I wyl put vpon you none other burthen,

For it semed good to the holye ghost & to vs, to put no greuous thyng to you more then these necessarye thynges,

Neuertheles Bell shall fall, and Nabo shalbe broken: whose ymages are a burthen for the beastes and cattell, to ouerlade them, and to make them weery.

All therfore whatsoeuer they bid you obserue, that obserue and do, but after their workes do not,

This is the loue of God, that we kepe his commaundementes, and his commaundementes are not greuous.
