Ye fooles and blynde, whither is greater the offerynge, or the aulter whiche sanctifieth the offeryng?

And whosoeuer sweareth by the aultare, it is nothynge: but whosoeuer sweareth by the offeryng that lyeth on the aulter, offendeth.

Whosoeuer therfore sweareth by the aultare, sweareth by it and by all that thereon is.
