And I heard a voyce in the myddes of the .iiij. beastes say: a measure of wheat for a penye, and .iij. measures of barly for a peny, and oyle and wyne se thou hurte not.

And he agreed with the labourers for a peny a daye, and sent them into hys vyneyarde.

And the sayd seruaunt went out & found one of hys felowes, which ought him an hundred pence, & layed handes on him, & toke hym by the throote sayinge: paye me that thou owest.

He sayd: yea. And when he was come into the house. Iesus spake fyrst to him, sayinge: What thinkest thou Simon? of whom do the kynges of the earth take tribute or pol money? of their chyldren, or of straungers?

Iesus perceyued theyr wickednes, & sayd: Why tempt ye me ye hypocrites?

And he sayd vnto them: whose is thys ymage & superscripcion?

And they broughte. And he sayde vnto them: Whose is thys Image and superscripcion? And they sayde vnto hym: Cesars
