And Iesus sayde vnto him, if thou wilt be perfecte go and sell that thou haste, and geue it to the poore, and thou shalt haue treasure in heauen, and come and folowe me.

Iesus behelde hym, and had a fauoure to him: and sayed vnto hym: one thynge is lackynge vnto the. Go and sell all that thou haste, and geue to the poore, and thou shalte haue treasure in heauen, and come and folowe me, and take vp thy crosse.

When Iesus hearde that, he sayed vnto hym. Yet lackeste thou one thynge. Sell all that thou haste, and distrybute it vnto the poore, and thou shalt haue treasure in heauen, and come, & folowe me.

Sell that ye haue, and geue almes. And make you bagges whiche were not old, and treasure that faileth not in heauen, where no these cometh, neyther mothe corrupteth.

So likewise none of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, can be my discyple.

and solde their possessions and goodes, and departed them to all men as euery man had nede.

If any man minister vnto me, let hym folowe me, and where I am, there shal also my minister be. And yf any man minister vnto me, hym wyll my father honoure.

And he sayed to them all, if anye man wyll come after me, let him denye hym selfe, & take vp his crosse dayly, and folowe me.

my shepe heare my voice, & I know them, and they folowe me,

Ye shall therfore be perfect, euen as your father which is in heauen, is perfect.

And I saye also vnto you: make you frendes, of the wycked mammon, that when ye shall depart, they maye receyue you into euerlastynge habitacyons.

Iesus sayde vnto them: Verely I saye vnto you: when the sonne of man shall sit in the seate of hys maiestie, yea, which folow me in the second geueracion, shall sitte also vpon .xij. seates, and iudge the .xij. tribes of Israel.

Iesus then sayde to hys disciples. If anye man will folow me, let hym forsake hym selfe, and take vp hys crosse and folowe me.

The discyple is not aboue his maister. Euery man shalbe perfecte if he be as his mayster is.

And after that he wente forth and sawe a Publican named Leui, sittinge at the receite of custome and saide vnto him: folowe me.

And he called the people vnto hym, wyth his disciples also, and sayde vnto them: Whosoeuer will folowe me, let hym forsake hym self, and take vp his crosse and folow me.

And as Iesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man syt receyuyng of custome named Mathew, and sayd to hym: folow me.

For ye suffered also wyth my bondes, and toke in worth the spoyllyng of your gootes, & that wyth gladnes, knowynge in youre selues howe that ye had in heauen a better & an endurynge substaunce.

And as Iesus passed by, he sawe Leuye the sonne of Alphey syt at the recepte of custome, and sayde vnto hym: folowe me. And he arose, and folowed hym.

But Iesus sayd vnto hym folowe me, and let the dead burye their deade.

& he sayed vnto them, folowe me, and I wyll make you fysshers of men.

Kepe innocency, and take hede vnto the thynge that is ryghte, for that shall brynge a man peace at the last.

In the lande of Nus there was a man called Iob: an innocent & vertuous man, soche one as feared God exchued euell.

When Abram was nynetye yere olde and .ix. the Lorde apeared to hym sayinge: I am the almyghtye God: walke before me and be vncorrupte.

These are the generacions of Noe. Noe was a ryghteous man & vncorrupte in hys tyme, & walked wt God.

And the iong man sayd vnto him: I haue obserued all these thynges from my youth, what lacke I yet?

When the ionge man hearde that saying: he went away mournynge. For he had great possessions.
