When we were all fallen to the earth: I heard a voice speakinge vnto me, and saiynge in the Hebrue tonge: Saul Saul, why persecutest thou me? It is hard for the to kicke against the pricke.
So he came, and stode by me. But I was afrayed at his commynge, and fell doune vpon my face. Then he sayde vnto me: O thou sonne of man, marcke well, for in the last tyme shall this vision be fulfylled.
His syght to loke vpon was lyke the fyrst, that I sawe, when I wente in, what tyme as the cytye shulde haue bene destroyed: and lyke the vysyon that I sawe by the water of Cobar. Then fell I vpon my face,
So when I had rysen vp, and gone forth in to the felde: Beholde, the glory of the Lord stode there, lyke as I saw it afore, by the water of Cobar. Then fell I downe vpon my face,
And Dauid lyfte vp hys eyes & saw the Aungel of the Lorde stand betwene the earth and heauen with a drawen swerde in his hande stretched oute towarde Ierusalem. Then fel Dauid & the elders of Israel clothed in sacke vpon their faces.
For when the flamme came vp out of the aultare, the angel of the Lord ascended vp in the flame of the aultare. And Manoah and hys wyfe loked vpon and fell flat on their faces vnto the grounde:
And there came a fyre out from before the Lord, & consumed vpon the alter the burntofferyng and the fatt. And all the people sawe it, and showted, and fell on theyr faces.
