Matthew 13:30

Matthew's Bible 1537

Let both growe together tyl haruest come, & in tyme of haruest, I wyl saye to the reapers, gather ye fyrst the tares, & bynde theym in shewes too be brent: but gather the wheate into my barne.

Then shall the kinge saye vnto them that shalbe on the lyfte hande. Departe from me ye cursed, into euerlastinge fyre, which is prepared for the deuyll and hys angels.

And yf any man rise to persecute the and to seke thy soule the soule of my Lorde be bounde in a bondel of lyfe with the Lorde thy God. And thy soules of thy enemies be slong in the midle of a slinge.

But the man that shal touch them, muste be armed wyth yron on a longe helue. And then shall they be burnt with fyre to syt therby.

It shal happen to them, as when one sheareth in haruest, which cutteth his handfull with the sickle, and when one gathereth the sheaues together in the valley, of Raphaim

But whyle men slept there came hys foo and sowed tares amonge the wheate, and went hys waye.

But he sayde, nay, lest whyle ye go about to wede oute the tares, ye plucke vp also wyth them the wheat by the rotes.

Mayest thou beleue him, that he wyll brynge home the corne, or to cary any thyng vnto the barne?
