And he spake many thinges to them in symilitudes, saying, beholde, the sower went forth to sowe.

and he said vnto them: Perceyue ye not thys similitude? howe then shoulde ye vnderstand all other similitudes?

And with many suche similitudes he preached the worde vnto them, after as they myghte heare it.

And it came to passe when Iesus had finished these similitudes, that he departed thence

I wyll open my mouth in parables, and speake of thynges of olde.

And they wente aboute to take hym. But they feared the people. For they perceyued that he spake that similitude agaynste them. And they lefte hym.

I will enclyne myne eare to the parable, and shewe my darke speach vpon the harpe.

These thynges haue I spoken vnto you in prouerbes. The tyme will come when I shall no more speake to you in prouerbes: but I shall shewe you plainly from my father.

Then Peter sayd vnto hym: Mayster tellest thou thys similitude vnto vs, or to al men?

And he sayed vnto you is it geuen to knowe the secretes of the kingdome of God: but to other in symylytudes, that when they se, they shoulde not vnderstande.

And he began to speake vnto them in simylitudes. A certayne man planted a vyneyarde, and compaste it wyth an hedge, and ordeyned a wyne presse, & buylde a tower in it. And let it oute to hyre vnto housband men, & went into a straunge countreye.

And he called them vnto hym, and sayd vnto them in similitudes. How can Sathan dryue out Satan?

Learne a symylytude of the fygge tre: when his braunches are yet tendre, and his leaues spronge, ye knowe that sommer is nye,

But shall not all these take vp a prouerbe agaynst hym, & mocke hym with a byworde & saye: Wo vnto hym that heapeth vp other mens goodes? Howe longe wyll he lade hym selfe with thicke claye?

In that daye shall thys terme be vsed, and a mournynge shalbe made ouer you on thys maner: We be vtterly desolate, the porcyon of my people is translated. When wyll he parte vnto vs the lande, that he hath taken from vs?

Then saide I: O Lord they will saye of me: Tush, they are but fables, that he telleth.

Thou sonne of man: put forthe a darcke speakinge, and a parable, vnto the house of Israel,

And Iesus answered, and spake vnto them agayne in symylytudes sayinge.

And as he sowed, some fel by the wayes syde, and the foules came and deuoured it vp.
