yet hath he no rootes in hym selfe, and therefore dureth but a season. For assone as tribulation or persecucion ariseth because of the word, by and by he falleth.

And happye is he that is not offended by me.

O Ephraim, what shal I do vnto the? O Iuda, how shall I entreate the? seynge youre loue is like a morning cloude, and lyke a dew that goeth early awaye.

that Christ may dwell in your hertes by fayth, that ye beinge roted and grounded in loue,

A man can not endure in vngodlinesse, but the rote of the righteous shall not be moued.

when ye saye: Why do not we persecute him? we haue founde an occasyon against hym.

The woordes of hys mouth are vnrighteousnes and disceate, he will not be learned to do good.

Thys thou knowest howe that all they whiche are in Asia, be turned from me. Of whiche sorte are Phygelos and Hermogenes.

and am surelye certifyed of this, that he whyche began a good worke in you, shall go forth wyth it vntyll the daye of Iesus Christe,

For in Christe Iesu neyther circumcisyon auayleth any thing at all, nor vncircumcysyon but a newe creature.

As manye as desyre with vtwarde apperaunce to please carnallye, they coustrayne you to be circumcysed, onelye because they woulde not suffer persecucyon with the crosse of Christe.

For in Iesu Christ nether is circumcysion any thing worth, neyther yet vncircumcysyon, but fayth which by loue is myghtye in operacyon.

that is to say, prayse, honoure and immortalytye, to them whyche continue in good doynge and seke eternall lyfe.

Iesus aunswered them and sayde verelye, verelye I say vnto you ye seke me, not because ye sawe the miracles, but because ye eate of the loues, and were fylled.

Thei on the stones, are thei which when they heare, receiue the worde with ioye. But these haue no rotes, whiche for a whyle beleue, & in tyme of temptacion go awaye.

yet haue no rotes in them selues: and so endure but a tyme: and anone as trouble and persecucyon aryseth for the wordes sake, they fall immediatlye.

Peter answered and sayd vnto hym, thoughe all men should be offended by the yet would I neuer be offended.

Then sayd Iesus vnto them: all ye shall be offended by me thys nyght. For it is written. I wyll smyte the shepehearde, and the shepe of the flocke shall be scattered abroade.

But he that endureth to the ende, the same shall be safe.

And they were offended by hym. Then Iesus saide to them a Prophet is not without honor saue in his own countrey, & among his own kynne.

& when the sunne was vp, it caughte heate, and for lacke of rotynge wyddred awaye.

and ye shal be hated of all men for my name. But he that endureth to the ende shalbe saued.

The desyre of the vngodly hunteth after mischief, but the rote of the righteous bryngeth forth frute.

whiche are kept by the power of God thorowe fayth, vnto saluacyon, whiche saluacyon is prepared all ready to be shewed in the laste tyme,

For Demas hath left me & hath loued this present worlde, and is departed into Thessalonica. Crescens is gone to Galacia, & Titus vnto Dalmacea.

I know thy workes, and where thou dwellest euen where Sathans seate is, and thou kepest my name, and hast not denyed my fayth. And in my dayes, Antypas was a faithful wytnes of myne whych was slaine among you, where Sathan dwelleth.

But he that was sowen in the stony grounde, is he which heareth the worde of God, and anone with ioye receyueth it,

for in many thinges we synne all. Yf a man synne not in worde, the same is a perfect man and able to tame al the bodye.
