Then one of the twelue called Iudas Iscaryoth went vnto the chiefe priestes,

And when supper was ended, after that the deuyl had put in the herte of Iudas Iscarioth Simons sonne, to betraye hym.

He spake it of Iudas Iscarioth the sonne of Simon: For he it was that shoulde betraye him, and was one of the twelue.

And immediatelye whyle he yet spake, came Iudas one of the twelue, and wyth him a great numbre of people wt sweardes & staues from the hyghe Priestes & Scribes & elders.

Whyle he yet spake: lo Iudas one of the twelue came, and with hym a great multitude with sweardes and staues, sent from the chiefe priestes and elders of the people.

Whyle he yet spake: beholde there came a company, and he that was called Iudas, one of the twelue, wente before them, and preased nyghe vnto Iesus to kysse him

Then entred Sathan into Iudas whose syr name was Iscaryot (whych was of the number of the twelue)

And Iudas Ischarioth one of the twelue went awaye vnto the hye priestes, to betraye hym vnto them.

Then when Iudas whiche betrayed him, saw that he was condemned, he repented him selfe, and brought agayne the .xxx. plates of syluer to the chiefe priestes and elders

that the one may take the roume of this mynystracion and Apostleshippe, from that which Iudas by transgression fel, that he myght go to his owne place.

And when they were come in, they went vp into a parler where abode bothe Peter, and Iames, Iohn and Andrew, Philip & Thomas, Bartlemew and Matthewe, Iames the sonne of Alpheus and Simon zelotes, and Iudas Iames sonne.

Ye know that after two dayes shalbe easter, and the sonne of man shalbe delyuered to be crucifyed.

and sayd: What wyll ye geue me, and I wyll delyuer him vnto you? And they appoynted vnto him thyrtye peces of syluer.

But there are some of you that beleue not. For Iesus knewe from the beginninge, which they were that beleued not, and wo should betraye him.
