But when he sawe the people, he had compassyon on them, because they were pyned awaye, and scattred abroad, euen as shepe hauinge no shepeherde.

Iesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes. And immediatly their eyes receiued sight. And thei folowed him.

And Iesus went forth and sawe muche people, & hys herte did melte vpon them, & he healed of theim those that were sicke.

The Lord is gracious and merciful, longe sufferyng, and of great goodnesse.

Wherfore in al thinges it became him to be made like vnto his brethren, that he myghte be mercyfull and a faythful hye prieste in thinges concerninge God, for to pourge the people synnes.

And he went by ship out of the wai into a desert place.

And if I shoulde send them away fastynge to theyr owne houses, they should faynte by the waye. For diuers of them came from farre.

And he loked aboute him: and se, there was a loffe of broyled breade and a cruse of water at hys heade. And he ate and drancke & layde hym doune agayne to slepe.
