And when Iesus knew that, he sayd vnto them: why take ye thought because ye haue no bread perceyue ye not yet, neyther vnderstande? Haue ye your hertes yet blynded?
And immediatly when Iesus perceyued in hys spirite, that they so reasoned in them selues, he said vnto them why thinke ye suche thynges in your hertes?
O Lord wherfore hast thou led vs out of thy waye? wherfore hast thou hardened our hertes, that we feare the not? Be at one with vs agayne, for thy seruauntes sake that are of the generacion of thine heretage.
And he loked rounde aboute on them angerly, mournynge on the blindnes of theyr hertes, & said to the man: stretch forth thyne hand. And he stretched it out. And hys hande was restored euen as whole as the other.
And I will kyl her chyldren wyth death. And all the congregacions shal know, that I am he, whiche searched the reynes and hertes. And I will geue vnto euery one of you according vnto youre workes.
He saied vnto him the thyrde tyme: Simon Ioanna, louest thou me? And Peter sorowed, because he saied to him the thirde time, louest thou me, and said vnto him: Lord, thou knowest all thinge: thou knowest that I loue the. Iesus sayd vnto him: fede me shepe.
Nowe knowe we that thou vnderstandest all thynges, and nedest not that any man should axe the any question. Therfore beleue we that thou camest from God.
After that he appeared vnto the eleuen, as they sate at meat, and caste in theyr tethe theyr vnbelese and hardnes of hert: because they beleued not them which had sene hym after hys resurreccyon.
