And he rose vp, and rebuked the wynd and sayed vnto the sea: peace and be styll. And the wynde alayed, and there folowed a great calme.

He maketh the storme to ceasse, so that the waues are styll.

Thou rulest the pryde of the sea, thou stillest the waues therof, when they aryse.

Which stilleth the ragynge of the sea, the roarynge of his waues, and the woodnes of the people.

The Lord stilleth the water floud, and the Lord remaineth a king for euer.

Feare ye not me, sayeth the Lorde? Are ye not ashamed, to loke me in the face? which bynde the sea wyth the sande, so that it can not passe hys boundes: For thoughe it rage, yet can it do nothynge, and thoughe the waues thereof do swell, yet maye they not go ouer.

Fyre and hayle, snow and vapors, wynde and storme, fulfillynge his worde.

saying: Hytherto shalt thou come, but no forther, & here shalte thou laye doune thy proude & hye waues.

And the chyldren of Israel went in thorow the myddest of the sea vpon the drye ground. And the water was a walle vnto them, both on their ryghthand & on their lefte hande.

When Iesus sawe that the people came runnyng together vnto him, he rebuked the foule spirit, saying vnto him: Thou domme & deaf spirite, I charge the come out of him, & enter no more into him.

But lyfte thou vp thy rodd & stretch out thy hand ouer the sea and deuyde it a sondre, that the chyldren of Israel may goo on drye grounde thorow the myddest therof.

And he stode ouer her, and rebuked the feuer, and it left her. And immediatly she arose and mynystred vnto them.

When he reproueth the sea, he drieth it vp, and turneth all the floudes to drye lande. Basan is desolate, Charmel & the pleasure of Lybanus wasteth awaye.

Caph. For the Lorde wyll not forsake for euer.

And he sayed vnto them: why are ye fearfull, O ye of lytle fayth? Then he arose, and rebuked the wyndes and the sea, and there folowed a great calme.

And he was in the sterne a slepe on a pelowe. And they awoke hym, and sayde to hym: Mayster carest thou not that we peryshe?

And Iesus rebuked him saiynge: holde thy peace & come out of hym. And the deuyll throwe hym in the myddes of them and came out of hym and hurte hym not.

And they went to him and awoke him saiyng: Maister Maister we are loste. Then he rose & rebuked the winde & the tempeste of the water, & they ceased, & it wexed calme.
