And anone many gathered together, in so muche that now there was no rome to receyue them: no, not so much as about the dore. And he preached the worde vnto them.
But he (assone as he departed) beganne to tell many thynges, & to publyshe the dede: in so muche that Iesus coulde no more openlye enter into the citie, but was without in desert places. And they came to him from euerye quarter.
They whiche were scattered abroade thorowe the affliction that arose aboute Stephan, walked thorowe oute tyll they came to Phenices and Cypers, and Antioche, preachinge the worde to no man, but vnto the Iewes onely.
And they when they had testified and preached the worde of the Lorde returned towarde Ierusalem, & preached the Gospel in manie cities of the Samaritans.
As there gathered together an innumerable multitude of people (in so muche that they trode one another) he began to saye vnto hys discyples: Fyrste of all beware of the leuen of the Phariseis, which is hypocrisye.
And it happened on a certayne daye, that he taught, and there sate the phariseis and the doctours of lawe, which were come out of all the tounes of Galyle, Iurye, and Hierusalem. And the power of the Lorde was to heale them.
And Iesus went out and sawe muche people, and had compassion on them, because they were lyke shepe, whyche had no shepeherd. And he beganne to teache them many thinges.
