And Pylate merueyled that he was already deade, and called vnto hym the Centurion, and axed of hym, whether he had bene anye whyle deade.
When Iesus hearde that, he maruailed & sayed to them that folowed him. Verely I say vnto you, I haue not founde so great faith: no, not in Israel.
Ioseph of Arimathia a noble Councelloure which also loked for the kyngdome of God, came and went in boldly vnto Pylate, & begged the bodye of Iesu.
And when he knewe the truth of the Centuryon, he gaue the body to Ioseph.
