And Pylate axed hym: arte thou the kynge of the Iewes? And he aunswered and sayde vnto hym: thou sayest it.
sayinge. Where is he that is borne kinge of Iewes? We haue sene his star in the east, and are come to worshyppe hym.
I geue the charge in the syght of GOD, whiche quickeneth all thynges, & before Iesu Christe whiche vnder Poncyus Pylate wytnessed a good wytnessynge,
And the tytle of hys cause was written: The kynge of the Iewes.
and began to salute hym: Hayle kynge of the Iewes.
And Pylate aunswered agayne, & sayd vnto them: what wyl ye then that I do with hym, whom ye call the kynge of the Iewes?
Pylate aunswered them, & sayd: Wil ye that I lowse vnto you the kyng of the Iewes?
And the hyghe Priestes accused him of manye thynges.
