For there shalbe in those dayes such trybulacyon, as was not from the beginning of creatures whiche God created, vnto thys time, neyther shalbe.

The tyme wil come also, that the greate Prince Michael, which standeth on thy people syde, shal aryse vp, for there shall come a tyme of trouble, such as neuer was, sens there beganne to be any people, vnto that same time. Then shal thy people be deliuered, yea, al those that be found written in the boke.

a darcke daye, a gloomynge daye, a cloudye daye, yea & a stormy daye, lyke as the mornynge spredeth oute vpon the hylles: Namely, a great and myghtye people; suche as haue not bene sence the begynnynge, neither shal be after them for euer more.

For then shalbe great trybulacion such as was not from the beginninge of the worlde to this tyme, nor shalbe:

After these .lxii. weakes shall Christ be slaine and they shall haue no pleasure in hym. Then shall there come a people with the Prince, and destroye the cytie and the Sanctuarye: & his ende shall come as the water floude. But the desolacion shall continue till the ende of the battell.

But at the first creacion God made them man and woman.

And he hath perfourmed his wordes, whiche he spake against vs, and against oure iudges that iudged vs: to brynge vpon vs suche a greate plage, as neuer was vnder heauen, lyke as it is now come to passe in Ierusalem.

Mem. What shall I saye of the, O thou daughter Ierusalem, to whom shall I lycken the? To whom shall I compare the, O thou daughter Sion, to conforte the with all? Thy hurte is lyke a many see, who maye heale the?

For aske I pray the for the dayes that are past which were before the, sence the day that God created man vpon the earth and from the one syde of heauen vnto the other whether any thynge hath bene lyke vnto thys greate thyng or whether any suche thyng hath bene heard as it is,

Dau. The synne of the daughter of my people is be come greater then the wyckednesse of Sodome, that sodenly was destroyed, & not taken with handes.

Lamed. O ye all that go fore by, beholde and se, yf there be eny sorow like vnto myne, wherwith the Lord hath troubled me, in the daye of his fearefull wrath.

But praye, that your flight be not in the winter.

And except that the Lord shoulde shorten those dayes, no man shoulde be saued. But for the electes sake which he hath chosen, he hath shortened those dayes.

And I sayd vnto hym: Lorde thou wotest. And he said vnto me: these are they which came out of great tribulacion, and made their garmentes large and made them white, in the bloude of the lambe,
