And behold they cried out saying: O Iesu the sonne of God, what haue we to do with the? Art thou come hither to torment vs before the tyme be come?

Beleuest thou that there is one God? Thou doest well. The deuyls also beleue and tremble.

When he sawe Iesus he cried and fel doune before him, and with a loud voice saied: What haue I to do with the Iesus the sonne of the God moste hiest? I besech the tormente me not.

and cryed with a loude voyce, and sayde: what haue I to do with a loude voyce, and sayde: what haue I to do with the Iesus the sonne of the most hyest God? I requyre the in the name of God that thou torment me not.

For why? thou shalt not leaue my soule in hell, neither shalt thou suffre thy saincte to se corrupcion.

and we beleue and knowe thou arte Christe the sonne of the lyuinge God.

And the aungell aunswered and sayd vnto her: The holye ghoste shall come vnto the, and the power of the hyest shall ouer shadowe the. Therfore also that holye thynge whiche shall be borne shalbe called the sonne of God.

We haue founde thys man a pestylent felowe, and a mouer of debate vnto all the Iewes thoroughout the world, and a mayntayner of the secte of the Nazarites,

For of a trueth againste thy holy childe Iesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herode and also Poncius Pilate, with the Gentyls & the people of Israel, gathered them selues together,

To whom he sayde: what thinges? And they sayde vnto him: of Iesus of Nazareth which was a Prophete, mighty in dede and worde before God, and all the people.

& went & dwelt in a citie called Nazareth, to fulfyl that which was spoken by the prophetes: he shalbe called a Nazarite.

And all the whole multitude of the Gaderenites, besought hym that he woulde departe from them: for they were taken with greate feare. And he gate him into the shyppe, and retourned backe againe.

Dyd not we tell the thys in Egypte sayinge, let vs be in rest & serue the Egypcians? For it had bene better for vs to haue serued the Egyptians, than for to dye in the wyldernesse.

And there was in theyr Synagoge a man vexed with an vncleane spirite, that cryed

And Iesus rebuked him, saying: hold thy peace, and come out of hym.

And when he hearde, that it was Iesus of Nazareth, he beganne to crye and to saye: Iesus the sonne of Dauid, haue mercye on me.

& when she sawe Peter warmyng him selfe she loked on hym, and sayd: Waste not thou also with Iesus of Nazareth?

And he sayed vnto them, be not afrayed: ye seke Iesus of Nazareth whiche was crucifyed. He is rysen, he is not here. Beholde the place where they put hym.

And ye haue an oyntment of the holye ghost and ye knowe all thinges.
