And as he went out to lande, there mete him a certaine man out of the citie, which had a deuil long time, & ware no clothes, neither abode in anye house: but amonge graues.
And the .xxxix. yeare of his raigne Asa fel sycke on hys fete, and that his disease exceaded. And therto in his sycknesse he asked no counsel of the Lorde, but of Physycyons.
And ther was a certayne man halte from hys mothers wombe, whome they broughte and layed at the gate of the temple called beutifull, to axe almes of them that entred into the temple.
but by what meanes he now seeth, that can we not tell, or who hath opened hys eyes, can we not tell. He is olde ynoughe, axe him, let hym answere for hym self.
And whensoeuer he taketh hym, he teareth hym, and he fometh and gnasheth with hys tethe, & pyneth away. And I spake to thy disciples that they should caste him out, and they coulde not.
