Then wente the deuyls out of the man, and entred into the swine: and the hearde toke their course, and ranne headlinge into the lake, and were choked.

And they had a kynge ouer them, whych is the angel of the bottomlesse pyt, whose name in the Hebrue tonge, is Abodon, but in the Greke tonge, Appollion.

Be sober and watch, for your aduersary the deuyll as a roringe Lyon walketh aboute, sekinge whom he may deuour,

Ye are of youre father the deuyl, and the lustes of your father ye wyll do. He was a murtherer from the begynnyng, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truthe in hym. When he speaketh a lye, then speaketh he of hys owne. For he is a lyar, and the father therof.

And he said vnto theim, go your waies. Then went they out of & departed into the hearde of swine. And behold the whole heard of swyne was caryed with violence headling into the sea, and peryshed in the water.

It came to passe as the people preased vpon him to heare the worde of God, that he stode by the lake of Genezareth:

And there was therby an hearde of manie swine, feadinge on an hyl: and they besought him, that he woulde suffer them to enter into them. And he suffred.

When the heardmen sawe what had chaunsed, they fled and tolde it in the cytye, and in the villages.
