Nowe knowe we that thou vnderstandest all thynges, and nedest not that any man should axe the any question. Therfore beleue we that thou camest from God.

Iesus perceyued that they woulde axe him and sayde vnto them. This is it that ye enquyre of amonge your selues that I sayde after a whyle ye shall not se me, and agayne after a whyle ye shall se me.

Ye call me mayster and Lorde, & ye saye well, for so am I.

The same came to Iesus by nyghte & sayed vnto him: Rabbi, we knowe that thou art a teacher whiche art come from God. For no man coulde do such miracles as thou doest, except God were wt him.

And a certayne ruler axed him, saiyng: Good Maister, what ought I to do, to obtayne eternall lyfe?

But he knewe their thoughtes, and sayde to the man which had the withered hande: Rise vp and stande forth in the middes. And he arose and stepped forth.

Iesus aunswered and sayde vnto them: They that are whole nede not of the phisician: but thei that are sicke.

When Iesus perceiued their thoughtes, he aunswered and sayd vnto them: What thinke ye in your hertes?

Many will saye to me in that daye: Maister, maister, haue we not in thy name prophesied? And in thy name haue cast out deuylles? And in thy name haue done many miracles?

These come vnto the, after the maner of a great people: yea my people syt doune before the, and heare thy wordes, but they do not there after: for in theyr mouthes they shewe them selues, as though they were feruent, but their herte goeth after theyr owne couetous lucre.

And forthe wt al he came to Iesus, and sayed: hayle mayster and kyssed hym.

Should not a sonne honoure his father, & a seruaunte hys mayster? Yf I be now a father, where is mine honoure? Yf I be the Lorde, where am I feared? sayeth the Lord of hostes. Now to you priestes, that despise my name. And yf ye saye: wherin haue we despised thy name:

When the pharysey which bade him, sawe that he speake within him selfe saiyng. If this man were a Prophete, he woulde surely haue knowen who and what maner woman this is which toucheth him, for she is a synner.

There was a certayne lender, which had two detters, the one ought fyue hundred pence: and the other fyfty.
